I’ve been working on clearing the junk out of my house. So far, so good though I’ve slowed down on the junk clearing a little bit this past week. I went to a class about solar cooking last Saturday, so this week I’ve been spending my time running out to the back yard to check shadows and “re-focus” my oven for optimal temperature retention. My efforts paid off with the best sun cooked loaf I’ve ever produced. Not perfect, but a dramatic improvement over last time.
Anyway, all the attention I’ve been giving the solar oven means a big lag in my anti-junking. Last week though, I emptied this bookshelf and found it a new and more productive home. It got a lot of love while it was out of work. The whole job was worth it just for the five minutes represented below.
